Fifth Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Contest

     It's time once again for The Candy Factory's annual Gingerbread House Decorating Contest.  This year there are a few changes in  that the display will be held at the Davidson County Historical Museum across the street from The Candy Factory.  Because it is the 150th birthday of the building, the Historical Museum is offering a special prize to the structure that is the best rendition of the old courthouse that houses the museum.  Entries must also be in earlier this year as the display will be a part of Lexington's annual Christmas Open House held November 23rd from 1-5 pm.
     Rules and entry forms are the same for this year, and proceeds from the contest will benefit Habitat for Humanity.  Houses must be submitted to the museum the week of November 17-22 and will be on display through December 13.  Prizes in addition to the museum's special prize will be gift certificates to The Candy Factory.  Entry forms and rules can be downloaded from this site or picked up at the store.  If you have questions, please contact us at 336-249-6770 or email candyfactory@lexcominc.net
