The Candy Factory's 25th Anniversary

The Candy Factory is celebrating its 25th anniversary in uptown Lexington this month.  Opened on September 15, 1979, the store has undergone several expansions and renovations in its 25 year history.  Unchanged are the country store atmosphere, the creaking floorboards, and the delightful scent of chocolate and peppermint. Throughout the month of September, the store is having weekly drawings for prizes--candy, gift certificates and stuffed animals.  Come in and register as often as you like.  However, the celebration doesn't end here.  Christmas will bring a gingerbread house contest benefiting a local charity, and there will be other events through the spring of 2005.
